What a LONG day.... poor baby... the glucose sugar drink got the best of her.... but she was a trooper!!!!! Never cried, and even took her own needle out her arm a few times... 5 blood draws in all!
she looks super brave !!! thanks for your sweet words on my blog ... It has been an amazing journey and I am thankful I answered God's call to interim care !!!
Oh my gosh...what a sweetums!! I just know that had to take alot out on that Maddi!! So very brave!! And mom...I know it was rough for you too ((((HUGS))))
Yes, what a strong girl! Marci, that child looks just like you! :) I am sure that's where she gets her strength, as well...
Tina, I don't do well with blood draws either...I pass clean out. I was told not to ever give blood, myself! I think its because I am bony....Bad experience at 16 with the Red Cross. I was okay with the needle stick, but when the blood started draining out....And I don't do much better, watching my children having things done either. Jonathan had stitches in his forehead after he drove his tricycle off the porch when he was 3, and the ER doctor had to make me leave the room....sobbing uncontrollably. So much for a profession in healthcare, beyond medical records. :(
I have 4 daughters ranging in age from 8 to 20... and also have a grand daughter who is 1 year old.
Mike, thanks for the last 10 years! It's been a great ride! LOL
and sorry I have another photo shoot scheduled!!!!
